THE COAT OF ARMS OF
THE DUCHESS OF BRAGANZA
On the Day of Saint Martyr Agathonicus and Saint Hieromartyr Gorazd the Czech, on 22nd August (4th September) of the year od our Lord 2007, our Board for Heraldic and Genealogical Studies had an exceptional honour to bring to completion the work on the coat of arms of Her Royal Highness Dona Isabel Ines of Castro Curvello of Heredia, Duchess of Bragança, wife of His Royal Highness Dom Duarte Pio João Miguel Gabriel Rafael of Bragança, the Most Serene Lord, Duke of Bragança, of Guimarães and of Barcelos, Marquess of Vila Viçosa, Count of Arraiolos, of Ourém, of Barcelos, of Faria, of Neiva and of Guimarães, Sovereign of the Royal Order of Saint Isabel, Grand Master of the Order of the Immaculate Conception of Vila Viçosa and Grand Master by Birth of the Order of Saint Michael of the Wing and Judge of the Royal Brotherhood of Saint Michael of the Wing.
The coat of arms has been confirmed officially, meeting with vociferous approval and gratitude.
The work of our Board on the heraldry of the Royal House of Portugal continues.
