OUR NEW ASSOCIATE
It is a great joy and honour, for us to report that our Board for Heraldic and Genealogical Studies has just got a highly significant ''reinforcement''.
Namely, by his acceptance of collaboration, one of the greatest experts in our regional and Orthodox heraldry has joined us in our work.
The said very well known and respected heraldist, heraldic artist and heraldic researcher is Mister Tudor Radu Tiron, who is a: Knight of the Romanian National “For Merit” Order /insignia: here/; holder of a Anniversary Medal of the Bucharest Archives Faculty; Expert at the Romanian Presidential Administration, the Chancellery of Orders /have a look: here/; Member of the Committee of Heraldry, Genealogy & Sigillography of the Romanian Academy /have a look: here/; Delegate and Senior Academician-Fellow of the International Academy for the Promotion of Historical Studies /have a look: here/; Member of the Romanian Institute of Genealogy and Heraldry “Sever Zotta” /have a look: here/; Member of the Moldavian Society of Genealogy, Heraldry and Friends of the Archives “Paul Gore”; Associate Fellow of the International Association of Amateur Heralds /have a look: here/; Member of the Redaction Committee of the Romanian Revue of Heraldry “Herb”; and from now on, Associate of the Board for Heraldic and Genealogical Studies of the Centre for Research of Orthodox Monarchism.
Mister Tiron is one of the most highly reputed authorities on Romanian heraldry, and as such, at the moment he is preparing his PhD in the field of heraldry, as an auxiliary historical science. He is an outstanding heraldic artist and researcher, internationally renowned and recognized, who participated in numerous international conferences that were concerned with heraldry. Also, he is an author of dozens of significant studies and articles regarding heraldry, that were published in Romania and abroad in Romanian, French, and English language.
It is important to point out that some of the mentioned texts deal with issues of importance for, both, Romanian and Serbian heraldry, such as: ''SUR LES ARMORIES DES NĂSTUREL'' (Muzeul Brailei Editur Istros, Brăila, 2003.), or: ''A SERBIAN PRINCELY GRAVE IN ROMANIA'' /have a look: here/, and the international heraldic community exceptionally appreciated his work entitled: ''ROMANIAN PERSONAL HERALDRY'' /have a look: here/, as well as many others.
